  1. I think in chapter 5 when brian remembered his english teacher's words is a relevant information because without his teacher's words he would'nt have the motivation to live on -Godwin Guo 701

Brian is somewhere in the Canadian north woods and has crash landed near a lake. This lake may help him survive. He thinks of his English teacher that constantly tells kids to get motivated. He has plenty of items that are useless besides the hatchet. Brian also realizes he is off-course.

  3. one piece of relevant information is the items he had like the $20 dollar bill, the watch, the odd pieces of paper, and the hatchet on his belt.this is important information because he uses these items later on in the story

  7. In chapter 5, The items Brian listed- "A quarter, three dimes, a nickel, and two pennies. A fingernail clipper. A bill fold with a twenty dollar bill, and his hatchet, I think is relevant information. I say this because these are the only items he has to rely on to survive... they may not be useful now, however later on in the story it could come in handy and I think could even possibly lead to him getting out of his situtation.

  10. I think that in chapter 5 Brian has items that may not be handy for him, the items that Brian caries in chapter 5 are "A quarter, three dimes, two pennies, a finger nail clipper, a twenty dollar bill and the hatchet." Brian's mother gave him these items. The money may not be a useful item, but the hatchet is because it can come in handy in a situation.

CHAPTER4- the RELEVANT THINGS IN CHAPTER 4 was log,and the lake
CHAPTER5- the relevant things in chapter 5 is the lake, his hatchet, his 62 cents and the quoter or speech mr Peprich has told him
I think the gatchet is relevant because maybe he can use ir to chop something or to kill an animal to eat fresh(gross btw)
I think he might use the 62 cents to do something layer on
I also think the lake is important because he can use it to survive, because u dint need food to survive you only need

haha i read ahead of the story and found out that the man who found him was shocked because he was famous for being lost for over a month, that meant they found out that Brian was missing and the pilot died.

  23. i think the relevant information was that brain knew he was off course and that he had to do something. brain realizes that all he has is a $20 bill, 62 coins , a fingernail clipper, some pieces of paper and the hatchet. The only thing use full is the hatchet and he has to stop thinking about the hamburger and just start doing something helpful

  24. the hatchet and the place where he landed was revelate(important)
it was important because if he landed anywhere else besides the lake he would have died by crashing the plane. The best place would be for the plane to crash in the lake because when you crash, the plane wouldn't explode into pieces and it would be better for a softer landing. Also, if you land somewhere else and make it alive, he would still have to find water and shelter, and the best place to get water supply is by the lake. He might get lost if he goes too far from his shelter to get water. So landing in the lake would be very important. Without it he would not be able to survive. Plus, the hachet would be useful to get fire wood, and create sparks to make a fire. It is an excellent tool for surviving in the wilderness because it could also protect you from wilderness animals.

Hanif Darby 701I think in chapter 4 and 5 when brian remembered his teachers words is a relevant because without his teacher's words he would'nt have the feeling to go on and recover from the pain he feels inside of him and outside. Like the 62cent is not relevant information just the hachet survival pack and drilling pack.

I think that they mentioned that the plane did not crash into the rocks, that would had killed him. Also the hatchet is very important because possibly wouldn't be able to cut wood. The lake is very important cause he would've had died of thirst

    ReplyDelete
  31. I agree with Frank. In the book, it didn't say when that Brian crashed into the rocks because if it did, then Brian would have died. The hatchet is very important since is could chop off wood and it can start a fire.

  32. Also Brian the hatchet is helpful since it can start a fire and it can also chop down trees so he can make shelter. The 62 cents is useless.
